battle-ops is a competitive table-top card game.
players try to amass the most cards while utilizing the most effective path to victory.
GAME COMPONENTS
You need the following game components to play Battle-Ops Advanced Warfare Card Game:
2 x Battle-Ops Decks
2 x PMC Company Decks
1 x Game Board
2 x D6 Dice
2 x Resource Tokens
Adjust for more players by adding one of each per player.

GAME SETUP
Each player of Battle-Ops starts with a base 54 card Soldier Command deck and chooses a Private Military Company to play as. Each PMC General card comes with its own deck of 5 Special Operations cards, leading to 60 cards in total. Along with the cards, each player also has a resource token and a D6 die to bring to the operation.
Each player places their PMC General card in the designated area on the board, along with their Soldier Command deck and Special Operations deck.
After players have established their board,
all players shuffle their Soldier Command and Special Operations decks separately in order to randomize the cards. Once cards are shuffled, the decks are placed back onto the board to start the game.
GAMEPLAY
With cards in position, all players place 3 deactivated (face down) Soldier Commands on the Warzone to start a turn. All players flip over 1 of their 3 deactivated cards at the same time. The flipped cards are now activated, and the player that flipped the Soldier card with the highest number (Soldier Power) seizes all other active Solider cards, which will be counted at the end of the game. Players repeat this process for the two other deactivated Soldiers on the Warzone to complete a turn.

As players acquire Soldier Command cards, players can also gain Resources by playing Soldier cards with Rank such as: Lieutenant, Major or Specialist. When these cards are activated, players must remember to add 10% Resources to their stockpile.

GAMEPLAY CONTINUED
Resources are used for Soldier abilities and your PMC General card abilities. As more cards are played, more resources can be stockpiled, and more abilities become available.
(Resources can be used at any moment in a turn, by any player).
In order to unlock the chance to use Special Operation Command card abilities, PMC Generals must first establish their territory on the warzone by activating Armory cards.
Armory cards act as your stations on
the Warzone providing your PMC General the means to command advanced strategies to overwhelm the opposition. Each Armory provides 1 Base Power to the player that activated it.
Players must utilize their Station Power, Resources, PMC General abilities and Soldier abilities to strategize their way to victory.

TURN PHASES
RECRUITMENT PHASE
To start a turn each player places 3 deactivated (face down) Solider Command cards on the Warzone. Once all players have placed their cards, the turn starts. Players may now use Resources and Abilities until the end of the turn.
WARZONE PHASE
The Warzone phase is the part of the turn where players flip over their deactivated Soldiers, use activated card abilities, deploy Special Operations and utilize PMC General card abilities.
END PHASE
Players clean up the board and check the game board state before starting another Recruitment phase.
RULES
HOW RESOURCES FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
Resources may be used at any moment by
any player in a turn if possible.
HOW ARMORY STATIONS FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
Players may only use their PMC General card abilities if they meet the Armory Station Power requirements. Armories do not go into Barracks or count in final card totals.
HOW SPECIAL OPERATIONS FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
Only one Special Operation per player may be present on the board unless Permanaent. If a Special Operation is played while a deactivating effect is present, that Special Operation is dimissed. Special Operations do not go into Barracks or count in final card totals.
HOW PMC GENERALS FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
Players may only use their PMC General card abilities if they meet the Armory Station Power and Resource requirements. PMC Generals do not go into Barracks or count in final card totals.
HOW CARD ABILITIES / CARD RESOURCES FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
The player that activates the Soldier Command card immediately gains its abilities and resources, even if the card is acquired by another player.

RULINGS CONTINUED
IF SOLDIER COMMANDS ACTIVATE WITH EQUAL SOLDIER POWER.
When Soldier Commands are activated with the same Soldier Power, it results in a Battle-Op.
HOW BATTLE-OPS FUNCTION ON THE WARZONE.
In a Battle-Op, the players with equal Soldier Power must ensure their Warzone is filled with 3 cards each, by adding the necessary number of cards to the Warzone if needed. Those players then activate the remaining 2 Solider commands and add up all 3 Soldier Powers to determine a winner. If tied, the process is repeated. The winner acquires all cards on the Warzone.
IF A CARD ABILITY / EFFECT CANNOT BE APPLIED.
If a card ability or effect has no target, the ability or effect is dismissed.
DEPLOYING MULTIPLE SPECIAL OPERATIONS.
Only one Special Operation may be active on the Warzone at a time. You may play multiple Special Operations in a turn, and the last Special Operation deployed is the active card.

ACTIVATE(D)
To turn a card face-up. / A face-up card.
ACTIVE EFFECT
Effects that remain active on the Warzone as long as the card is on the game board.
ARMORY STATION
Provides Station Power to unlock the use of card abilities.
A value of 11 is used for Armory Stations.
ATTACK
Activate and compare Soldier Command card Soldier Power.
BARRACKS
Area on the game board designated for Soldiers you control.
BATTLE-OPERATION
Action taken when 2 Soldier Commands have an equal Soldier Power.
COMMANDS
Cards are refered to as Commands.
CONTROL
Cards that are active on your side of the game board.
COPY
Copy all stats and effects of one card and replace with another.
D6
The Dice used in the game for Roll Effects.

RUSH
Roll a D6, if odd, inspect a deactivated enemy Soldier on the Warzone.

Roll a D6, if even, inspect a deactivated Soldier you control on the Warzone.
